She has made a name for herself not only in the realm of storytelling, but also in the legal sphere, with a background in law which she studied both in Columbia University in New York City and her native Saskatchewan. She pursued her passion for writing and got her MA in Creative Writing and Publishing at City University London. With her acquired skills, she does not only capture narratives, but also paints pictures with meticulously crafted words.

Besides her academic accomplishments, Lalli has also achieved a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, enjoys yoga, piano, reading and making cocktails.
