His zest for writing propelled him to contribute to his high school paper, and his talent won him the coveted McClellan Award at East Tennessee State University, where he majored in English.
Transitioning from the academic sphere to professional world, Scott carved a niche for himself in journalism, serving as a writer, columnist, and editor for several esteemed newspapers in Tennessee. Not stopping there, he furthered his academic excellence, earning a law degree from the University of Tennessee. Scott Pratt, a proud husband and father of two, shares his home with his wife and their three canine companions.
