S.W. Hubbard holds a bachelor's in English from Georgetown and a master's from New York University, credentials that now inform her day job teaching creative writing to young writers in Morristown, New Jersey. Beyond her novels, her short fiction has appeared in Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine and assorted anthologies.

She's built two connected series: the Palmyrton Estate Sale mysteries and the Frank Bennett Adirondack Mountain mysteries. This guide runs the latter in full, eight books from her 2003 debut, Take the Bait, through 2021's Jumping Rise.
