Annie Barrows, born 1962 in San Diego, is an American editor and author best known for the Ivy + Bean chapter books, illustrated by Sophie Blackall and published by Chronicle Books, about two unlikely seven-year-old best friends. With her aunt Mary Ann Shaffer she also co-wrote the adult novel The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, later adapted into a film.
