Books in Order: Must-Read Series by S L McInnis

Born and raised in Canada, S.L. McInnis studied broadcasting in university and worked in radio and public television before her writing career began, alongside a deep, separate interest in music that later echoed through her debut's central character. Her prose has drawn comparisons to Gillian Flynn's Gone Girl for its tight, suspenseful structure.

That debut, Framed, was published in 2020 and remains her only novel to date. She lives in Toronto with her husband, a former television executive turned chef.
