Kay Finch grew up in Pennsylvania before relocating to Texas, where her work as a paralegal — she's a member of the State Bar of Texas Paralegal Division, alongside Mystery Writers of America and Sisters in Crime — fed directly into her mystery plotting. She and her husband share their home with several rescued cats and dogs.
