Sandra Dallas graduated from the University of Denver and spent twenty-five years as a reporter for Business Week, covering everything from hard-rock mining to contemporary polygamy — research that later grounded her historical fiction in real, reported detail. Today she's settled in Denver, where her husband, Bob, and their two grown daughters round out her life outside of writing.

Her first book, 1965's nonfiction title Gaslights and Gingerbread, came decades before she turned to fiction with 1990's Buster Midnight's Cafe. This guide runs all twenty-three novels since, in the order she published them, through 2023's Where Coyotes Howl.
