Ken Follett got his start at Everest Books, a London publisher, writing as a pastime before a swelling car-repair bill pushed him to write under the pseudonym Simon Myles just to cover the cost. He's Welsh, and though he's used other pen names since, most of his catalog carries his own name, split between standalone thrillers and the occasional short series.
This guide runs all thirty-one of his books, from The Big Needle in 1974 through 2025's Circle of Days — half a century of work that began, in a roundabout way, with an unpaid repair bill.
