Books in Order: Comprehensive Guide to Ken Bruen's Works

Ken Bruen studied at Gormanston College and Trinity College Dublin, where he earned a doctorate in metaphysics, before spending twenty-five years teaching across Africa, Japan, Southeast Asia, and South America. That much geography left a mark on his hardboiled crime fiction, best known through the Jack Taylor and Tom Brant characters.

His debut, Shades of Grace, was published in 1993 to strong notice from crime fiction readers. This guide runs seven Inspector Brant novels, from A White Arrest in 1998 through Ammunition in 2007.
