Books in Order: Comprehensive Guide to Kate Sedley's Literary Works

Before she was Kate Sedley, Brenda Margaret Lilian Honey Clarke published under two other names: Brenda Honeyman, starting with The Kingmaker in 1969, and her own name, Brenda Clarke, from 1978's Glass Island. The Sedley byline itself didn't arrive until 1991, with Death and the Chapman introducing her best-known character, Roger the Chapman.

This guide covers two novels published before any of that, though: Richmond and Elizabeth (1967) and The Warrior King, also known as Harry the King (1970) — the earliest entries in a career that would go on to use several different names.
