Jojo Moyes worked as a journalist before fiction, writing for The Independent, Hong Kong's Sunday Morning Post, and The Daily Telegraph after a bursary from The Independent funded her postgraduate journalism training at City University London. She's won the Romantic Novel of the Year Award twice, and lives on a farm in Essex with her husband, the journalist Charles Arthur, and their three children.
Her debut novel, Sheltering Rain, arrived in 2002 as she made the full leap into fiction. This guide runs all seventeen of her novels since, through 2023's Someone Else's Shoes — more than two decades of character-driven storytelling, journalist's instincts intact.
