Books in Order: A Comprehensive Guide to Katherine Bolger Hyde's Novels

A native New Yorker who now lives among California's redwoods, Katherine Bolger Hyde writes mysteries in the classic tradition — and no, she's no relation to the performer Ray Bolger, in case the name rings a bell. Books claimed her early: reading by age four, committed to authorship at eleven, then Russian literature in college and a stint of teaching before writing took over for good.

The five novels gathered here make up her Crime with the Classics run, from Arsenic with Austen in 2016 through Fatality with Forster in 2021 — traditional whodunits threaded through with the classic literature she has loved her whole life.
